Dentistry has entered a whole new world of technology especially in endodontics.  The

way patients are treated endodontically has changed dramatically over the past 10 years.

Therefore, it's important to stay abreast of current techniques, materials, and concepts in

endodontics.  Dr. Rico Short will discuss current trends in endodontics and separate fact

from fiction.

1. Understand the value of CBCT in Endodontics.

2. Learn about new bicoeramic technology in endodontic treatment.

3. Learn about new irrigation techniques and materials in modern endodontics. 

 

Dr. Rico Short

Dr. Rico D. Short is a board-certified endodontist, author, and speaker. Dr. Short has over 20 years of experience in dentistry and 20 years in endodontics. He is an expert spokesperson on Endodontics for the American Dental Association (ADA) and is endorsed by the American Association of Endodontists speaker’s bureau. Dr. Short is an independent national lecturer and is an opinion leader on various dental products before and after they hit the market. Dr. Short graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1999 and completed his endodontic residency at Nova Southeastern University in 2002. Dr. Short became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 2009.  His private practice, Apex Endodontics P.C, was opened in 2004 and is located in Smyrna, Georgia just outside Atlanta.  He is a member of the Fellow International College of Dentist, and an expert consultant in endodontics to the Georgia Board of Dentistry and an assistant clinical professor at The Dental College of Georgia in Augusta.
